The Taste of Life is Spicy-Bittersweet-Tangy
For a time, you have the sweetness of contentment in your heart.
For a time, you feel the youthful spicy zeal of life.
For a time, you are gripped by the bitterness of failure, unfairness, and loss.
For a time, you are amazed by the tangy drama of events.
And in the nostalgia of it all, you taste the complete spicy-bittersweet-tangy flavor of life.
You experience these flavors like the ever-changing waves of the ocean.
One day this, one day that. It’s fluid, dynamic, and wondrous.
Their exuberance is sometimes observed in the play of children, in the memory of your own days of carefreeness.
You catch its whiff in the freedom of the flowing wind.
its energy in a horse’s stride.
You are overwhelmed by their vastness in the sight of expansive vistas.
Longing wide and deep.
In the shimmering of water, there also glistens a variety of emotional flavors.
Everything around us evokes a different one. Each moment so very flavorful.
To do justice to life, we are taught that we must take each morsel as it comes.
To sure prepare a recipe well, but to accept each flavor as it unfolds.
Learn better and cook better. The kitchen of life is bountiful.
Enjoy when the meal is hearty and rinse the mouth to wash away the bitterness.
So always remember, the taste of life is spicy-bittersweet-tangy.
