An amazing video by Google I/O 2017 shows you how to nurture your idea4 min read

Just this morning while I was checking out youtube by my phone, I came across an

interesting video. Titled “The story of an idea” made for the Google developers meet

2017.

At first, I was a little hesitant and disinterested as I thought it might be something

about a recent Google product or an idea they are working on, the reason I was

disinterested because I did not want to see another hypothetical or delayed idea

which will kill my excitement, as who knows when will it ever come out?

Yes! you guessed it right, I am speaking about “Google Nose“, the video for it was released

back in 2013 and the service was about to go public sooner than you expect, however still to

date, after that video, no updates were given by google for it.

However you must give that to Google, they always entertain some really exciting ideas.

Anyways, I let my curiosity take the best of me and played it nonetheless, I thought why

not let’s see if I get some food for thought.

And Wow! it was pure awesomeness of 3:16 seconds.

In those 3 minutes, 16 seconds google tells you a compelling story from the birth of an idea

to its full fruition. The hurdles along the way and how to get going when the climb seems steep.

You must have seen the whole video by now, so let’s jump into debunking it in case if you have missed

out on some of the subtleties in the message.

So what do you do when you find an idea?

Do you throw it away thinking it is useless?

Or feel overshadowed by seeing other’s big huge successful ideas?

On the contrary, you should actually nurture and pour belief into it, with that your idea will turn golden

All ideas are small in the beginning, brainstorm it and develop it, make a plan, get a schedule laid out and start working

The ride will be uphill and steep, it will be difficult no doubts about it

And stormy too but you should keep climbing nonetheless, it might even go downhill sometimes, but

You should get it on the top somehow, One day your idea will open up a new dimension for you

From there on you two will go on the most thrilling and adventurous journey of your lifetime, looking out for each other and making progress

You will learn, grow, have fun and make a better plan together

You two will have your destination in sight

It will be a treacherous road, a maze of uncertainty but don’t worry your idea will show you the path, learn to trust each other

And finally, your idea will become the universe you intended it to be, A sight of a lifetime.

Conclusion

An inspiring message in a short duration indeed. We all are brimming with ideas, however, we are too

entangled with if’s and but’s. We toss away the idea of a century just because we think it will not work,

somebody else has a better idea already or why would anyone care about what I have to say?

This questions might sound very legit and to a point, they hold some meaning too but understand this

Unless and until you experiment with something, you will never ever discover it’s true potency.

Belief is very important. If you believe in a cause, if you want to make something happen, then taking

a risk is the only option. Trusting your idea is the only way. Great ideas don’t come around often and when

you stumble upon something like that, you grab hold of it, you put all your might into it and one

day you might just be rewarded.

Rewarded by the most glorious sight you will ever see, the sight of the fruition of your idea. The world

changing because you believed in it through the thick and thin.
